Martin Bethell has been taking photographs from a young age when his parents gave him his first camera. He soon started to borrow his fathers camera equipment taking a particular liking to his Canon A1 35mm film camera. He extensively took images with slide films and learnt how to use a traditional darkroom at school. Throughout his final years at school and at university, Martin was never far from his camera, from using it to record fun nights out, to taking images when on holiday.
Upon leaving university Martin decided to follow his aspiration to become a Commercial Airline Pilot, a role he achieved and still fly's across the globe today. In his spare time it is photography that keeps him occupied and he takes photographs on a variety of subjects with travel and events a particular area of interest.
Martin is also an active member of Bracknell Camera Club and a Southern Counties Photographic Federation (SCPF) Accredited Judge.
